Since the house wont’ sell and it looks like it will be years before we can unload this place, we decided to do some home improvements and make this house not only more livable, but also more enjoyable. We have wanted to use our backyard more but it just really needed some work to make it a place more than just to cut grass. So we started to looking at Outdoor Kitchen Islands.
It turns out that Outdoor Kitchen Islands really increase your living space. Our neighbors put one in a few years ago and they use is about six months out of the year. That really a difference in how you use your house. They have a refrigerator in the island so you can go out and have a cold one any time you want. you can also throw on a burger and not disturb anybody in the house. Plus its just nice to kick back on the patio and take it easy after a long day. It’s like having an extra room that you can actually use and not just another place to use a storage.
Sometimes early in the morning , my neighbor makes coffee and put a roast and vegetables in foil and put in in the oven in the island. He puts in on real low heat. Then , if I am lucky, he invites me over for morning coffee and a roast beef dinner.
It just seems to me that in this economy you might as well enjoy what you have and Outdoor Kitchen Islands are the way to go.
