Does money equate love. Does spending an enormous amount of money prove that our love for another is greater? As a society we try very hard to create an image that says we care by the enormity of money we put into something. We go to great length and over extend ourselves to prove our love for another; whether it be our partner, child, friend or parents. However it is refreshing to see that since the financial economic crisis the world went through, we as a society are becoming sensible and responsible with our finances. We are finally teaching our children the benefit of saving and buying prudently. No longer do we see the extravagance of yesteryears. We are becoming a society who is budgeting once again with great care and precision. We are drawn towards businesses that offers cheaper prices and promises adequate services.
No longer are we burying our loved ones in rich encased coffins and spending thousands on the services and burials. We are quite content to use the service of a budget funeral company like Browne Brothers funerals who will give us the attention we deserve at a very low cost we can afford so that we can bury our departed with dignity, without over extending ourselves.
We are no longer trying to pretend we can compete with our rich neighbours and live stressful lives where we are forever extending ourselves to an incredible height. Budget living has become acceptable and more often than not a way of life. We are becoming a society who can survive on very little and yet be enormously happy and contented with our lot. A Cheap funeral is sensible practice for those on a budget.
Is is good to see the revival of ‘back to basics’.
