Back in January i treated myself to a new tv. After struggling on with my ancient tv i thought i would go out and get myself something a bit better. I look at loads of different models but settled on a Panasonic plasma because it has the best spec of about 10 i looked at. I was also excited about the other features like getting Youtube videos on the tv too, this is where it started to go wrong though i was not sure how to connect panasonic viera to internet. I assumed i could connect my very expensive tv via wireless which took me an age to figure out as when i got my pda, i could not figure out how to connect pda to wireless. It seems that the tv does not have wireless unless you buy another accessory! i could not believe that for the money i had paid i did not have a feature as simple as wi-fi built in. The tv needs connecting via a cable but i find this very difficult as my router is no where near my tv so im missing out on a feature that influenced my decision to purchase that model unless i am willing to spend more money on a already expensive item!! I suppose its my own fault for not spotting this when i was researching but i also asked the chap in the store who did not mention anything about a separate accessory. It’s not the end of the world and after setting it all up i don’t need the hassle of boxing it all up and returning it to be honest but it is a shame just wish i would have spotted this sooner!
